About the program

King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) offers a number of international programs outside the Kingdom, which are held in cooperation with the most prestigious international universities. Mawhiba supports students in all stages of the program, starting from registration until completion of the program. These programs are held in person in several countries such as America, Britain and Ireland, and provide students with a full-board accommodation system within the best university housing.
In addition to the scientific knowledge aspect, the programs include activities that aim to develop the skills of the distinguished individual in all aspects, and provide them with a rich university experience in all aspects, for a period ranging from three weeks to six weeks during the summer vacation.

If accepted, the student will receive travel tickets, tuition fees, housing and transportation.

​Note: Registration in  the National Program for Gifted Identification is a prerequisite for nomination into the program .

Note:  Registration for the program is available during the month of December of each year, and is implemented during the period from June to August of each year .

Target group

Students of the National Program for Giftedness Identification from the second year of secondary school, scientific section, from the current academic year.

Program registration requirements

1. The student must be of Saudi nationality or have a Saudi mother.

2. The student must obtain a score of 1410 or higher on the Mawhiba scale for multiple mental abilities (whether the test language is Arabic or English).

3. If the student is tested for the Mawhiba Multiple Intelligence Scale in Arabic, he/she must obtain one of the following English language test scores as a minimum:

4. To increase the chance of participation, it is required to obtain a score on the IELTS or TOEFL test, as they are among the basic requirements in most international programs.

5. The student must pay the financial contribution after being notified of the nomination, in order for his/her final registration in the program to be approved.

Additional criteria

  • To increase your chances of participating, you must obtain a score of 120 or higher on the Duolingo test, as this is a basic requirement in some international programs.
  • The student must have national or international achievements.
  • The student must have won participations and medals in competitions or Olympiads.
 * Registration in the “Mawhiba Ambassadors” program and entering your wishes does not mean final acceptance to participate in the international program.
 * Students will be ranked based on their achievements and program requirements.

Request for exemption from the value of the financial contribution

You can apply for a partial exemption from the financial contribution value for registration in the programs through the registration system if you belong to one of the following categories, provided that supporting documents are attached to verify the validity of the application. 

  • Families registered with social security.
  • Affiliated with a charitable organization. 
  • Children of martyrs.
  • Their status is proven by a legal document (insolvency document) .
